The City
Bordeaux is a magnificent city with a definite buzz to it. There has been a lot of work and money invested into the city, a facelift that was desperately needed before the election of ex-prime minister Alain Juppé as mayor who concentrated his efforts on the cities rejuvenation.
Bordeaux was established as a trading post by the Romans and has since accumulated great wealth. The city offers some exciting architecture and is particularly impressive when approaching it from the south.
